すきまの集合住宅
計画地は、古い建物と新しい建物が混在する住宅密集地の一角。袋小路の先にある敷地は、周りは古くからの住宅地密集地となっている。街レベルの密集地にスケールアップして住宅レベルで密度の密集した立体的な構成を計画した。1階〜2階は縦横に立体的に交差しながら、各部屋を構成している。3階になると、面積の差と天井の広がりを分け与えながら部屋を作っており、更に外部の仕上げがそのまま内部の仕上げとなっている。密集するなかで、一つの建物と建物の間にも空間をつくることで住宅密集地に住む風景を作りだした。

A continuous urban landscape
Situated in a dense residential area, this project stands in a dead end, jammed against its neighboring houses. To follow this lecture of density, we decided to embrace it by densify the composition of the building itself. Therefore, we designed the apartments on the first and second floor by crossing each other vertically and horizontally. This way, they allow various combinations of units, compared to the mesh of locals houses. Then, a different language is applied to the third floor, where an interspersion of roofs gently tangles the regular plan.
The aim was to propose a continuous urban landscape from the neighborhood through the building.
